Hi all,
I’m running OpenClaw 2026.2.26 on a local Pi and I’m trying to expose a custom Skill to an agent that’s serving a Telegram DM.
What I’ve done so far:
• Created a Skill in my workspace (e.g. skills/calendar/ with SKILL.md, scripts/, tools/calendar\_query.json5).
• The Skill works locally…
If you run Claude Code in the background, you've hit this: task finishes, nothing happens. You check the log manually or forget about it entirely. Your AI agent has no idea either.

What I built: a Python script called [agent-wake.py](http://agent-wake.py) that Clau…
Stop typing the same prompts on repeat. 🎯 Custom skills let OpenClaw auto-match your requests — just say 'blog post' and it knows exactly what you mean. Here's how to build your first one: https://t.co/zxmHnypjDB
Stop rewriting the same instructions. Drop custom skills in ~/.openclaw/skills/ and OpenClaw auto-matches them to your requests. There's a whole community library on GitHub.
I want to use openclaw as an orchestration layer to interact with cloud based legal software. The software has pretty good APIs. How would open claw work with this? Would it build custom skills to access the api’s or can’t it do that?
This is actually crazy I have @openclaw running 5 custom Agents across @droid & @RepoPrompt using their CLI's Each custom agent is assigned custom skills that enable it to skate across the CLI's Research and setup PRD in P.A. Trigger Agent Workflow w/PRD and wait for Slack https://t.co/Dnn7zF7hpw
Writing your own skills in \~/.clawdbot/skills/ is the ultimate workflow customization. A good skill handles failure gracefully and produces consistent, structured output.
ClawHub is the community marketplace for skills. Don't write everything from scratch—install pre-built skills for Research, Co…
I keep seeing people post in this group that their openclaw is dumb and useless. But this is a skill issue, LITERALLY A SKILL ISSUE YOU NEED TO MAKE CUSTOM TAILORED SKILLS, and its incredibly easy. I show you how and why you should do it in this video!
Hope you enjoy :)
